Custom Made Furniture Terms and Conditions

By visiting our website, placing an order, or paying a deposit or the full price, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Return Policy and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or place an order.

Custom Made Furniture designs, manufactures and sells furniture from our factory and showroom in Sydney, Australia, and through this website. References to "we", "us" and "our" mean Custom Made Furniture.

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. Your order is accepted only when we confirm it in writing or by email. We may decline or cancel any order, for example if a product is unavailable, there is a pricing or description error, or we cannot verify your details. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund you in full.

Please check your order carefully before confirming, including sizes, fabrics, colours and finishes.

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST unless stated otherwise. Prices may change without notice, but the price confirmed in your order is the price you pay.

Payment is required in full at the time of ordering, unless we have agreed in writing to a deposit and balance arrangement. Where a deposit applies, the balance must be paid before delivery or collection. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout.

Many of our products are made to your specifications. Once production has started, a custom order cannot be changed or cancelled. Please make sure the details you give us are correct.

Because furniture is handmade and made from natural materials, small variations in colour, grain, texture and dimensions are normal and are not faults. Colours on screen may also differ slightly from the finished product. Fabric and finish samples are available on request.

Any production or delivery times we give are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We will do our best to deliver within the estimated time, and will let you know if there is a delay. We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control.

You or someone you authorise must be available to receive the delivery and provide safe access. Extra charges may apply if delivery cannot be completed because of access problems, stairs, or a missed delivery. Please measure your doorways, hallways and stairways before ordering.

Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to you or collected by you. Ownership of the goods stays with us until we have received payment in full.

Our Return Policy forms part of these terms and explains how returns, refunds and exchanges work. Please read it before you order.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Any additional warranty we offer on a product is in addition to these rights. Warranties do not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, improper assembly, accidents, or damage caused by incorrect cleaning or care.

Gift cards and bonus gift cards can be used online or in-store, are not redeemable for cash, and are subject to the terms and conditions shown on the card or at the time of purchase. Promotions and discounts cannot be combined unless stated, and may be withdrawn or changed at any time.

We try to make sure the descriptions, dimensions, prices and images on our website are accurate, but they may contain errors. Images are for illustration, and the product you receive may differ slightly. If we find an error in a price or description, we may correct it and give you the choice to confirm or cancel your order.

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, or copy or reuse its content without our permission.

All content on our website, including text, photos, designs, logos and product designs, belongs to Custom Made Furniture or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. You may not copy, reproduce or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or products. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.

Where our liability for a breach of a consumer guarantee can lawfully be limited, it is limited, at our choice, to replacing or repairing the goods or paying the cost of doing so.

We collect and use your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version on this page at the time you place your order applies to that order.
